TGIF - Just another day in my world

TGIF I finally get to sit down and check my emails and post on my blog. I finish another purse that I love. I have been taking it everywhere with me since I finished it. Got a lot of ohhh's and ahhhh's from everyone about my purse so wanted to show it off on my blog :)






Have 2 pockets on both sides of my purse :)


Just had to put in a pocket for my cell phone can't never find my cell phone when it is in the bottom of my purse so this helps me a lot more here.


The inside also have 2 pockets the linning is a sky blue color love this color:)



Want to say thank you to a blogger friend of mines she sent me a Knifty Knitter and I love it. Thanks Sheila I love it so much thanks :) As you can see here I gave it a small test run. Just testing it out and seeing how it works like it a lot. I am so crafty that I always like to try something new every now and then but, I am not that type to give up on my sewing and crocheting either lol. I will get the hang of the loom knitting and soon give it a shot with knitting. I taught myself how to crochet so I aint scared to teach myself new tricks every now and then.

So giving it my all been praticing because I am so tempted to learn to do the loom knitting.

So tempted that I brought myself the round ones today and been on the net getting information on how to do these loom knitting. Oh if you know me I had to get me more yarn I am so addicted to yarn lol. The small yarn to the right I will be using those to crochet my oldest daughter some belts for her jeans. I get her the right size jeans but, due to her being so small shaped below her jeans tend to fall off of her and she picked out those 3 yarns for 3 pairs of back to school jeans I brought for her. :) she can't wait to go back to school. Tell you the truth I can't wait either lol. :)



Everyone have a great weekend. :) I surely will try to. Have a lot of sewing this weekend doing my sewing area mainly cleaning up and straighting up a bit. :) I also brought 4 movies for this weekend. Vacancy, Perfect Stranger, Hot Fuzz and Fracture. I will surely be laying back in my bed watching my movies and crocheting.

Well my mom wanted me to crochet her a big big purse so I went ahead and done it. My mom have always supported me when it came to my sewing and crocheting. She is always telling her friends all the nice things I do. She is always getting me customers to make some extra money here and there. Love my mom so I am always doing things for her in return what is a daughter for. :)

Oh also one of my best best friend I've known since high school she always picking up fabric and yarn for me. She got me a lot of yarn today so wanted to show off my new gift from my best friend Sharron. :)

What a friend I have. How nice of her. I think she just want me to make her a couple of tank tops lol. But, glad to have more yarn to add to my many more yarns I have. I have some ideas on what I will be doing with some of the yarns. I have a purse in mind for myself. A couple of shirts and cardi for my little girls.:)

Quick Update/ Thanks to a Crochetville Lady :)

Ok quick update. A lot of women from Crochetville has sent my daughter Nesa some crochet squares that I am still trying to put together for her a blanket. Due to my oldest daughter having a liver diease I wanted to have a special blanket for my daughter for those times that she is in the hossy. So there is this nice lady from Crochetville that wanted to send my little daughter Nellie something so she wont feel left out. Thanks Moomoo/

Also I went to a yard sell today came across these small sewing machines the owner said they are in great shape and she was asking for 10 dollars each so I got 2 of them for my little girls.


Here they go.
They both do work great but, I didn't buy them for me or for them to be used. They came with the foot paddle and the plug part but, I took the plug part out and used them for my girls to play like they is sewing. They always try to do what I am doing when I am sewing so this just made them want to learn more.

Here Go My Crochet Purse/Project Bucket

I love it. Love this purse. I am always crocheting other people purses and backpacks that I never really get to crochet me one so here goes my new purse love it.:)



Front
Has a crochet pocket with fun fur crocheted around it. I use the fun fur around the base of the purse also. There is 2 silver handles that I crochet around so it can be easy to carry it mainly a little more of comfront to the handles. :)

Inside with all my things.
Inside there is 4 pockets. I used the fun fur yarn to do crochet edging around the pocket I thought it would give it a bit of a big pop to it so it wont be all just black.


Here go a bucket I put together after seeing a post on Crochetville this lady got bucket that mainly for her crochet hooks. SO I decided to try to do me a bucket and have to say it turned out just right. I like it it can be used to have my crochet hooks and my yarn for the small projects that I am doing at that time. The bucket was a old cotton candy bucket I have plenty of them since the kids love cotton candy thought I would put some to used. I want to make a bigger bucket soon. :) This was like a practice so then I know how to do it bigger. But, will put this one to used for sure. What you all think about it.:)



I used denim for the outside then used pastic vinly for the pocket area for the crochet hooks.


There is also a handle that is out of the denim fabric.So I can carry my bucket around the house:) I also used some red pretty ribbon to line the outside of the top of the bucket for a little design.



Inside to put like my scissors and my yarn for the projects that I am doing at that time.
Really like how it turned out. So what do all you all think?

First shirt shirt ever

Well this is the first crochet shirt I've ever crocheted. I've always crocheted halter tops and tube tops but, never a whole shirt so I have to say it is lovely. Like it alot.

This shirt is done on my own mainly free handed it no pattern followed. Done in single stitches with 2 different yarns. I watch Uncommon Thread alot and one show they had Crochet Nation on there making a shirt I mainly took how they did they shirt and there I went.
Still learning to read patterns at this point. But, shoot I've been doing just find without patterns but, would like to learn one day so I can also learn to write my own patterns some day:)

Ok now here go my crochet items. I done my little 4 month old niece some headbands due to her having craddle cap her hair as been falling out in the front and I thought it would be nice to make her a couple of headbands to cover up that part of her hair until her hair starts back growing.

New purse

I always find myself trying something new when it comes to purses. Here go my lates purse that I've done. Like it alot. Wanted it with a big flap but, ran out of denim so I had to go with the little strap with the metal snap to help it close. It came out right. :)


Outside



Inside has a pink lining with 4 pockets 2 on each side of the purse



I tried something new here. I made a little zip up pocket on the strap to put like my credit cards and ID at with a zipper to help it stay closed. It came out just like I wanted it.


Throw my things inside very roomie at it. Also I have a long string that is sewn in the inside of the lining of the purse with a keychain on the end. It's used to clip my keys or a small chance purse to it so it's easy to find in my purse. Love this purse

Thanks for looking my daughter it loves her outfit just as much as I do :) My own pattern done in single stitches with a J hook and shell stitches with chaining at the edge of the skirt to give it that ruffle like look like the tank top :)
